A change has occurred
Hey guys and girls,
how's it going?
I'm great... I'm pleased the week is over. It's mostly been spent working on the aftermath of the accident and getting back to some normality.
Mind you, normality now takes a different form after a big moment yesterday. I will not reveal all, but those who know me will know about it. If not, you will have to wait and see.
Tomorrow I will umpire my first game after the Queen's Birthday weekend.
It will be the 2006 Grand Final replay between Nullawil and Wakool. The Hawks (Wakool) won last year's grand final by 8 points, but they have only won three games this year - plus a draw.
Nulli, on the other hand, are second the ladder. They are continuing on their good form since last year.
Wakool need to win or they will not make the finals as a result of the eveness of this year's competition. Yet they allegedly have a few major players returning from injury, which will help.
This will be a tight game.
On Sunday Port plays Essendon, and these matches bring back good memories from my old school days.
I had a few mates who were mad Essendon fans, especially in their premiership year of 2000.
One in particular (you know who you are) would love nagging me about the Bombers' success and Port's unluckiness. It was all in good fun though.
Sunday's game reminds me of that. Port have had a shocking four weeks, but the Bombers have picked up some good form.
Warren Tredrea (who is slowly returning from a knee operation) plays his 200th game, which hopefully will spur him on.
I'm going for Port, but it will be a battle.
Until later
See ya
